VF LH. 1912 20 pf. dark red brown Semi-Official airmail for flights from Darmstadt to Frankfurt overprinted E.EL.P. Inscribed "First German Airmail." Scarce, only 6,000 printed. It is thought E.EL.P. stands for eastern airmail.

VF used on piece. Feb. 26, 1912 Semi-Official airmail for flights from Bork airfield on Grade airplane. With inscription and area for affixing postage. Circular cancel with "Bruck" and date. "G.P. perfin on stamp.<br>

1923 Stamp Set issued to protest the stationing of Allied troops in the Ruhr and Rhineland to enforce WW I reparations. With thesuper-inflation of 1922, Germany was unable to meet Allied demands for reparations. This set reads, "Rheinland und Ruhrgebiet in Not!" It shows 10 scenes and cities in theoccupied area. Inscribed "First German Airmail" The stamp has a cancel from the flight. One-mark Gelber Hund stamp on special postcard printed fro the flight, along with Germania 5pf regular postage.

VF glazed gum. 1924 Dr. Heinrich von Stephan on chalky paper. Stephan was a 19th Century postal director who reorganized the German postal service. MI 362Y WOR. Stamp printed on bright white chalky paper.
