GE C4, C6 1922 Pigeon Stamps, Malygun Cancel

VF used. 1922 40, 60 pf. stylized pigeon airmail with Russian icebreaker Malygun cancels. The icebreaker met the Graf Zeppelin in the arctic to transfer mail and canceled postage on cards/letters destined for the Soviet Union. These stamps were outside there period of validity, but were added to letter mail and accepted by the Russians.

GE C35-7 1-4 Mark Graf Zeppelin Set

VF used. 1928 Graf Zeppelin airmail 1-4 Mark, set of three. These Zeppelin stamps paid postage on postcards and letters carried on regularly scheduled trips in Europe and to North America. The Zeppelin airship was instrumental in building Germany's power and prestige leading up to WW II.

VF used. 1930 "Suid Amerika" Graf Zeppelin 2-, 4-Mark airmail set. The stamps were issued to pay postcard and letter postage to South America. Scarce used.
GE C40-42 Polar Fahrt Zeppelin Set

VF used. 1931 Graf Zeppelin 1-4 Mark airmail Set. Inscribed "Polar Fahrt." for the 1931 Polar Flight. The flight was met by the Russian icebreaker, "Malygin" to transfer mail via rope drops and hoists.
