Allied Occupation Austria, France and Italy
Following liberation of Austria in 1945, allied forces occupied the country and issued stamps. Third Reich stamps were overprinted (obliterated) and used until allied military government stamps could be printed and issued. AMG stamps were also used in liberated areas of France and Italy.
